June 2012 The Girl with the B-29 Rating
During World War II, Paul Tibbets trained two WASPs--Dora Dougherty and Didi Moorman to fly the B-29, the most advanced aircraft of its time. On a spring afternoon 68 years later, Dora was in the cockpit of the last airworthy B-29, FIFI, for one more flight, where she was passing her knowledge on to another generation of women pilots.

December 2011 The Last First in Aviation: The Legacy of the Voyager
On December 14, 1986 Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager set out in the Voyager, an
airplane designed by Dick's brother Burt and built by a small group of volunteers,
with one goal -- fly around the world non-stop without refueling. This article is a look
back 25 years after the amazing achievement.
Moraine Airpark in Dayton, Ohio, played host to the second annual Ladies Love
Taildraggers Fly-In, an organization with members all over the world. The star of this
year's fly-in was Summer Martell who flew her 1931 Student Prince biplane from
Washington state with her friend Chrissy and blogged about it at Summersky blog.

January 2011 Tested Pilots: General Aviation Lands at the Edwards Lakebed with Fred Johnsen
Edwards Air Force Base held a lottery and for the first time allowed 100 lucky pilots to
land on the storied lakebed. Climb in the cockpit and experience a fly-in like none other.
Air show performer and professional musician Elgin Wells built the Starjammer with
built-in speakers, a customized on-board sound system, and covered in hundreds of
colored LED lights to create a new instrument for aerial entertainment, day or night.
